  • Lentil & Tofu Mix

    Ingredients:

    • 1 cup lentils  
    • 1 cup shredded tofu
    • 2 diced potatoes 
    • 2 diced carrots
    • Dulse flakes 
    • Hemp oil 

    Directions:

    First, boil 6 cups of water and add the lentils. Let them simmer for about 45 minutes until they’re cooked. Then, add the shredded tofu, potatoes, carrots, and 2 more cups of water and simmer on a medium flame for 25 minutes. After this, put off the flame and let it cool down a bit. Now add the dulse flakes and hemp oil and give it a good stir. Let it cool completely and serve!

    • Chicken Rice Bowl

    Ingredients:

    • 200 gm cooked, skinless chicken
    • 1 cup cooked brown rice
    • ½ to 1 cup peas and carrots
    • 1 tsp vegetable oil
    • 1/4 tsp potassium chloride ( salt substitute)
    • 250 mg calcium citrate

    Directions:

    Start by cooking all the vegetables and then gradually mix all the ingredients together. Mix well, cool it a little bit and serve.

    • Yoghurt Bowl

    Ingredients:

    • ½ cup Greek yoghurt 
    • 1 chopped apple 
    • 1 chopped banana 
    • 1 chopped beetroot 

    Directions:

    Take a bowl, add yoghurt and chopped fruits and roots. Give it a good mix and serve. You can also store this in the refrigerator for a week.

    • Fish/Chicken & Rice Stew

    Ingredients:

    • 400 gm fish/cubed, skinless, boneless chicken breast or thighs
    • 28 to 90 gm of chicken liver, heart, gizzard
    • 1 or 2 whole eggs
    • 250 gm of uncooked white or brown rice
    • 500 gm green beans
    • Bone meal; 1 tsp per gm of meat

    Directions:

    Take a slow cooker and combine the chicken breasts, chicken liver, heart, gizzard and eggs. Now add the bone meal, rice, and green beans. Add some water and see that all the ingredients are submerged well but not fully covered. Mix them well and cover and cook on low flame for four to eight hours, until the chicken breasts fall apart. Stir and add or drain water as needed to make a drier or moister stew. Cool down the mixture and then refrigerate. Serve as and when needed.
